About Wellness Newspaper
Our Mission
Wellness means something different to everyone — a better night’s sleep, a recipe that actually gets made on a Tuesday, a moment of real connection, or finally understanding what your blood pressure numbers mean. Wellness Newspaper exists to cover all of it, honestly and without the noise.
We’re not chasing pageviews with generic listicles. Every piece we publish is written by a real editor with real expertise and a real point of view — someone who sources their facts, tells you when something’s their opinion versus established science, and writes like they’d actually explain it to a friend.
Five Pillars, Five Editors
We organize everything we cover into five editorial pillars, each led by a dedicated editor:
💪 Active Fit Lifestyle — led by Marcus Reyes, a certified personal trainer who rebuilt his own fitness after a torn ACL. Covers training, movement, recovery, and healthy aging through fitness.
🍎 Nourishing Nutrition — led by Priya Anand, who learned to cook by reverse-engineering her mother’s recipes and taught herself low-carb cooking after her own prediabetes diagnosis. Covers recipes, meal planning, and supplements.
🧠 Mental & Emotional Wellbeing — led by Dr. Elena Marsh, a licensed professional counselor with 15 years in practice. Covers mindfulness, personal growth, and self-care.
🔬 Wellness Insights & Expert Tips — led by Tobias “Toby” Okafor, who studied public health and spent years in community health education. Covers holistic health, sustainable living, and expert interviews.
👨👩👧👦 Community & Preventive Care — led by Dr. Renata Silva, a practicing internist. Covers family health, preventive care, and the medical topics that actually affect daily life.

How We Write
Every article on Wellness Newspaper follows the same standard: real sourcing for real claims, and a real point of view. When we cite a study or a statistic, we name it. When an editor shares an opinion, we say so — we don’t dress up personal preference as universal fact. If you want the deeper detail on how a specific claim was reached, our authors are transparent about their sources throughout their writing.
For health-specific content, please also see our Medical Disclaimer — we’re proud of our editors’ expertise, but nothing here replaces your own doctor.
Part of the Hometown Publications Network
Wellness Newspaper is a proud member of the Hometown Publications Network, our parent publishing company and a growing collection of independent publications built on a simple idea: real editorial voice beats generic content, every time.
If nutrition and cooking are your thing beyond what we cover here, our sister publication Gourmet Food Magazine goes deeper into recipes and food culture.
Wellness Newspaper’s marketing and advertising partnerships are managed by Content Spots, our media and advertising agency.
